mike and I were on our was out, the kids with granny gar and grandpa mike, and not even around the corner of our street and mike slams on the brakes! theres a turtle, lets go catcb it! so mike got out i drove the car home and we now had a pet turtle! only for a few hours though! im not a fan they are germy little critters so i was freaking out ! "dont let blake touch it, wash your hands with hot soapy water,not just hand sanitizer that doesnt get all the germs off!" maybe i over reacted but id rather be safe than sorry! we let the little bugger go at mikes grandmas lake that afternoon, so he could have a buffet of fish! and not just die in our backyard!

blake loves to shake his bootie! and we took alex michael D and jeff to the lake with us, and blake was a dancing machine in the car with the encouragement of the boys...until the camera turned on! of course, but it was still cute!

nana thought it would be funny if she bough 400 balls for blake to play in well it wasnt,i cant tell you where i find those dumb little things, they are everywhere! but he sure has fun, so i guess its worth it!

blake is not a clingy kid he is very independent and isnt attached to much...except his blankie and my old stuffed monkey, i dont know where he found the monkey but he carries it around all day long its like his best friend. and he will not touch any other blanket or go to sleep with one ,its a pain to try and get it away long enough to wash that thing!

On our trip to North Carolina we stopped for lunch and this mall had a carousel in the food court so grandpa steveo took blake and auntie jenny for a ride!

the murder cycle

My little brother always called motor cycles murder cycles because he had a little bit of speech issues, it just stuck, and i dont have very fond memories of them, the last time i was on one i jacked up my knee pretty bad, it was the size of canada and black and purple all over!the bike fell on my knee, not a fun experience, so i was very hesitant when grandpa mike took blake on his first murder cycle ride, so i just went inside so i didnt have to watch. Grandpa mike bought him a helmet so i feel a little better, not much but i dont want to be one of those mean old grumpy moms who never lets their kids do anything because of my fears, so i guess i'll just have to roll with it!

mikes parent live on a lake. we took blake out there this summer because he was finally big enough to go for a kayak ride with daddy and grandpa mike! he loved i and had a blast! he liked lookin at all the fish swimming around him too! we took Lexi too but she wasn't much of a swimmer!

its the big boy bed! blake did so good transitioning to a toddler bed! we took him out of the crib when he was only 12 months old! and he stayed in bed... probably because he couldnt walk yet but nonetheless he stayed in bed! we had another little one who was going to need to be in the crib and we didnt want blake to feel like he was being replaced so we left the crib in his room for a few days while he slept in his big boy bed, and he never looked back!

our kids have a thing for fallin asleep alot! in interesting places, well i wont say our kids i'd say blake. i had to run to the grocery store and blake was asleep in the carseat, normally he wakes up when i take him out and try to sit him up in the cart. well not this time, i tried to sit him up and he just fell over! so i thought to myself well i cant carry him and shop so ... i put my purse down as a pillow and he stayed asleep the whole time!

vegas baby vegas! ya right with 2 kids! ha! thats a good one! mikes brother big head barrett lives in vegas so on our wasy home from utah we stopped to see them! it was a great visit i wish they would move to florida! their girls jill and maren are so fun and maren always has a mischevious look on her face, and for good reason! they played with the turtles, blake wasnt too fond of them, nut was facinated. we only had a few hours before we had to head to the airport but it was a fun visit!

our trip to utah was great! just blake lexi and mommy went, daddy had to work! we went and visited grandma and papa hayno. Uncle vinny was especially glad to see baby blake! they were glued at the hip! everytime we ask vinnie when hes coming to see us in florida he says 5 weeks, 4 weeks, 2 weeks, 5 weeks! so we'll see!

lexi came to us on Jan. 17th 2008. the little booger was too stubborn to come 17 days before that so i could get a tax break! it was acually a great expirience ! birth is easy for me, pregnancy, not so much. i was a dummy with blake and waited to 7 cm to get an epidural so it didnt even work, so with lexi i was prepared, i told them to start those drugs before they started the pitocin...i didnt want to feel anything this time.and i didnt. it was great, i pushed her out in a mere 4 minutes! blake took a little longer...10 minutes. mike thought i couldnt improve that time! i showed him! he acually told me after blake was born that i just had to beat that time with the next kid. hes lucky he didnt get smacked! i looked at him and just said "i dont think you know what i just did," in a very drugged up voice, probably slurring my words. but that stuck with me, and i was determined to push this one out faster! and sure enough the first words out of mikes mouth were "great jobs only 4 minutes" not "oh we have a beautiful baby" or anything like that! just, you beat the record!

blake was born on december 13th 2006. he was 6 and a half weeks early and weighed in at 5 pounds almost one ounce. he stayed in the NICU (neo natal intensive care unit) for 11 days and came home on christmas eve! he couldnt breath on his own he had jaundice and had to wear sweet sunglasses, and he couldnt eat on his own they had to tube feed him, so he dropped down to 4 lbs 8 oz which is still huge for a baby that sick and early. There arent words to describe the empty feeling you have when you have to go home without your baby. Ive never cried more or prayed more in my life. I spend everyday by his side in the NICU begging heavenly father to help our little boy. We brought him home a mere 11 days later (which is un heard of for a baby so early) on christmas eve.

First off let me say I HATE BEING PREGNANT!!!! but i love me some babies! As everyone knows i got really sick with both pregnancies! with blake, i gained alot of weight (about 80 pounds) because of pre eclampsia basically you gain a ton of water swell up, your blood pressure goes really high your organs shut down and you die if they dont deliver the baby. i never knew how sick i was until after i delivered Blake because the doctors and nurses are really good at staying calm! I also had hyperemisis, I vomited literally about every 3-4 minutes even if i just drank water, i lost a ton of weight until i got the ZOFRAN pump its a medicine pump that gets stuck in your leg and pumps ya full of medicine so ya dont barf! it is bless-ED! but very expensive unfortunatley.i also had a home therapy nurse doreen, with both pregnancies same nurse both times thankfully, she used to come once a week to change my IV site. my poor mommy had to stick the needle in my leg everyother day to chance the pump site! thanks Ma! and after a few and by a few i mean like 10 trips to the maternity ward ER with each pregnancy our babies were born!

Hawaii

we spent about 2 weeks in Hawaii on a few islands i dont know how many or what islands, it was a blur and kinda sucked because i was pregnant with blake and if your pregnant they dont let you sneeze out there. so we didnt get to do anything really fun ,but we did go to a luau and the food was great! we went to the temple and out to dinner alot and went snorkeling ! that was beautiful! probably my favorite part of the trip! but overall the plane ride was way too long, it was way too expensive, they dont have any dang mac n cheese on any of those stupid islands, and it looks just like florida so,... we can say weve gone but i dont think well go back for a very long time.

Wedding

We were Married march 3rd 2006 in the florida orlando temple. It was like the hottest day ever our pictures were grosse because i was all sweaty! it was beautiful though and my dress was amazing thank you mom. we found it on e bay for 100 bucks but it was a size 12 and ineeded a size 2 so my mom cut the skirt off and made a new top and stuck em together! it sounds alot easier than it was! but it was beautiful. my ring is georgeous! mike did a great job! he had great instructions though, i tld him i wanted the diamond that was shaped like a football so he could rember and not mess it up! the day was wonderful, the reception was great! our honey moon consisted of the fabulous penthouse suite at the ponte vedra inn and club for a few nights and a trip to savannah GA. mike hated savannah ! so we went to hawaii a month later.

How We Met

I went to institute (a church class) on tuesday night and Mike was greeting everyone at the door. we shook hands and i took my seat. I remember looking at him and thinking oh, hes cute, but i was there with someone else and had about 400 other boyfriends at the time(that may be a slight exaggeration but there were plenty in the works) and thought nothing of him. Then I showed up the next day to be a receptionist at a car dealership and he sold cars there. We became friends and were friends for 6 or 7 months before i texted him and said when are you gunna stop flirting with me and just ask meout? i got a text back saying work was not the place to discuss. and a few minutes later got another text that said dinner after work? Obviously i agreed to go, so there we sat at ruby tuesday and the first words we both said to eachother were " I dont want anything serious" ...well here we are married and 2 kids...but its not serious! haha!
The funny thing is before we started dating or even thinking of dating I used to tell him "were gunna get married and have cute little mormon babies" needless to say he thought i was crazy... and I am but I was right.
